Melbourne Cup stops 2 nations AND the Bridge Club !

One of the longest standing traditions at our club is to have a special day on the first Tuesday of November.  This is to celebrate the running of the Melbourne Cup and have fun running sweapstakes and dressing for the occassion.  Once again the ladies in particular looked stunning, but for a change, it was nice to see a man take up the challenge as well and actually win a prize for his daring attire !

It is great to finish the session with a wine or two and watch the race on our big screen which is now linked into our club's sound system so we felt like we were there live in Melbourne
