The Open WB Trophy comes home !

Two teams from Tauranga played at Cambridge on Sunday to contest the Waikato Bays Grade teams trophies. These two teams qualified by winning their section in the BOP Interclub Teams held in Rotorua at the end of July.

The Open team was made up of Judy Pawson, Kate Terry, Julie Sheridan & Karen Martelletti and they won all their matches and were the clear winners overall, 16 VPs ahead of Hamilton who was 2nd.

The Junior team was made up of Ronnie & Athol Ryan, Steve & Keryn O'Brien and they won 2 of their 3 matches and were very unlucky to not win overall.  They came 2nd behind Waikato and were a mere 0.46 of a VP from winning. Such an awesome result from our Juniors. We were proud of them !
