Woo Hoo ! Two of our club members have been selected to represent NZ
Jo & Sam were in a team with Blair & Liz Fisher who trialled in Christchurch last weekend. They played well throughout the weekend and they had a close battle with the overall winners (the Carter team) over three days. It came down to the last match on day 3 when the Simpson team played the Carter team. Sadly they lost this match, and the Carter team were assured of their place in the team to represent NZ. Fortunately, Sam and Jo did enough to impress the selectors and were selected as the 3rd pair.
A great result and we are proud to have some new International reps in our club !
