After partner opens the bidding and the next hand overcalls 1NT to15-18:

1. Double from you is penalty (9 or more HCP)
2. Bidding a suit denies the strength to double

You hold: ♠10x ♥KJxx ♦AJxxx ♣J10

Double. You have them outgunned. You should be able to defeat 1NT easily
