Beginners

The 2026 lesson programme starts the first week of March and runs for 13-15 weeks finishing mid to late June.  This year we will be running lessons at two time slots both on a Wednesday: 11am (BYO lunch) and 7pm, starting March 4th.  Bridge is a partnership game and you are welcome to bring along a friend you'd like to learn with but individuals are also most welcome, no prior experience necessary.  Tauranga will be running lessons in conjunction with the Mount Maunganui Club.

On completion, the beginners will then be able to play at any of the of the aforementioned clubs for the remainder of the year.  The options for beginners at Tauranga are Junior night on Wednesday nights, social bridge on Thursday afternoons and the Junior night on Mondays at the Mount. 

Cost of lessons will be $80.00 which includes club membership for 2026.  Payment can be made once lessons start.
