Woo hoo - two trophies in one day !

Twelve teams turned out to contest the Grade Teams trophies at Cambridge on Sunday 26th August. They played 16-board round-robins in three pools of four teams. In the Open section Tauranga took home the shield and also prevailed in the Intermediate, and Waikato, who were represented in all grades, won the Junior. The 12 teams weremade up of 1st and 2nd of each grade in the BOP Interclub teams and 1st and 2nd of each grade Waikato Interclub teams. We think this is the first time we have collected two trophies in this event.
