Keryn is a much valued member of the Tauranga Bridge Club Committee . She has been recently diagnosed with cancer. She faces very high treatment costs as two of three targeted therapies are not funded by Pharmac.
To support her, Tauranga is hosting a fundraising pairs tournament on Tuesday 28 October at 7pm-9:30pm. This tournament will be held on RealBridge.
All grades are welcome. There are two separate sections; an Open section and a Non-Open section. Non-Open players can choose which section you wish to play in. After registering, you will be sent an email requesting your preferred section:

RON FLINGER WORKSHOPS SUNDAY 7 DECMBER
Ron Klinger is a world renowned bridge teacher, author and player. He has published over 70 bridge books and has represented Australia at the World Championship level dozens of times. We are thrilled to host him for a pair of workshops on Sunday December the 7th.
These workshops are suitable for intermediate to advanced players, beginners players will not find them useful. The cost for each workshop is $30 ($60 for both workshops). You are welcome to come to either or both, for Tauranga members this can be deducted from Hello Club.
Tea and coffee will be available. You will need to bring your own lunch if attending both workshops. Spaces are limited and we will be advertising this to all clubs in the region so get in quick!

We are very fortunate to have a guest Bridge expert Ron Klinger is visiting our club in December. Ron will be running a lesson on Sunday 7 December.
The lesson will comprise of 2 workshops (a morning & afternoon session). The cost is $30 per session i.e. $60 for the full day.
Pre-registrations will be essential. These lessons will be advertised to everyone in the region so it will pay to register early. We will let you know when registrations open.

Message from our Club Manager
Thank you to everyone who attended the Special General Meeting on Tuesday 19th August.
The motion was approved to adopt the new Constitution to comply with the new Incorporated Societies Act.
