Upcoming tournaments, final weekly Sunday tomorrow

There are a couple of tournaments coming up that I wanted to make you aware of.

The first is, the Te Puke Daffodil Day tournament on next Sunday the 24th of August. It is a charity tournament much like our recent Charity Pairs and given that a number of their members supported our tournament it would be fabulous if we could reciprocate. Proceeds go to the Cancer Society.

The second is, our own Novice/Junior/Intermediate tournament in a fortnight on Saturday the 30th of August. Each grade is run separately and the Novice players just play a single session in the afternoon. On a personal note, I would love to see more entries for the Novice! Finally, we have come to the end of our weekly Sunday sessions with tomorrow being the final hitout before we revert to monthly Sundays. So make the most of this opportunity on what looks to be a drizzly Sunday and come on down for a relaxed afternoon of bridge. Remember, no partners required!
