The Hawke's Bay Congress was played over the King's Birthday weekend. The Open Teams qualifying was held on Sunday 31 May. The final was played on Monday 1 June. Congratulations to the "McAlister" team who came 8th. The team members were Diana McAlister, Hugh McAlister, Judy McLeod, Kate Terry and Jillian Ramsey.

Omokoroa held a Junior 3B tournament on Saturday 30 May. Congratulations to Rose van der Velden and Julie Frewin who came 5th.

The Hawke's Bay Congress was played over the King's Birthday weekend. The tournament kicked off with a "3+1 Teams" event on Friday 29 May.

The second round of the Bay Pairs was held at Mt Maunganui on Sunday 22 February. Congratulations to Hugh McAlister & Diana McAlister who came 1st and Kate Terry & Judy Pawson who came 2nd.

The third round of the Waikato Area Pairs was held at Cambridge on Sunday 24 May. Congratulations to Jenna Gibbons and Michael Curry who came 4th.

The Te Puke Restricted 8B Pairs was held on Saturday 23 May. Congratulations to John Laugesen & Bob Callcut who came 3rd.

The Katikati Intermediate 5B Pairs was held on Saturday 17 May. Congratulations to Janice Simpson and Ross Petersen came 7th. This tournament is the 3rd round of the Intermediate League series of tournaments. The next Intermediate League tournament is on 18 July at Katikati. Watch the website for more League tournaments.

Te Awamutu hosts the Restricted Open Swiss Pairs on Saturday 16 May. This was the first of new Open Restrited Waitkato Bays League. Congratulations to Ros van der Velden & Mike Newton who came 2nd. Click on the heading below to see the results.

The 3rd round of the Waikato Bay Junior League was hosted by Matamata on Saturday 9 May. Congratulations to Maria Arhanic & Bruce Bettany who came 3rd.

Over the weekend NZ Bridge held the qualifying round for the Regional Championships. The winning two regions will play for the Regional Championship final at the National Congress in November. Congratulations to WAIKATO-BAYS "OPEN" TEAM (Barry Jones & Jenny Millinton, Liz Fisher & Blair Fisher) who came 4th.

Over the weekend NZ Bridge held the qualifying round for the Regional Championships. The winning two regions will play for the Regional Championship final at the National Congress in November. Congratulations to WAIKATO-BAYS "WOMENS" TEAM (Jenna Gibbons & Christine Gibbons,Kate Terry & Judy Pawson) who came 1st !!! They will go forward to represent the Waikato-Bays Region at the Finals in November.

Over the weekend NZ Bridge held the qualifying round for the Regional Championships. The winning two regions will play for the Regional Championship final at the National Congress in November. Congratulations to WAIKATO-BAYS "INTERMEDIATE" TEAM (Catherine Cameron & Helen Rinaldi, Judith Howard & Nick Saunders) who came 5th. They also won 8 out of their 12 matches - a huge result !

Auckland held the Anzac Day Open Pairs 8B tournament on Saturday 25 April. Congratulations to Diana McAlister and Hugh McAlister who came 2nd.
