Cambridge held their iconic Sixes Teams tournament on Saturday 9 August. This is always a fun event held at the Sir Don Rowland Events Centre on Lake Karapiro. Congratulations to the "Tartans Twos" team of Diana McAlister & Hugh McAlister, Rosemary Wilkey & Bettina Dudley, Nikki Baguley & Mark Wardill who came 3rd.

The Whakatane Restricted was held on Saturday 2 August. Congratulations to Kate Terry & Cathy Parker who came 5th.

The Tauranga Multigrade 3A tournament was held online on Wednesday 30 July. Thank you to everyone for playing in our tournament and making this a fun day. A big thank you to our director Julie Atkinson. The winners are: 1st - Paula Gregory & Anne Somerville (Timaru/Invercargill) 2nd - Sue Southen & Pam Tibble (Christchurch) 3rd - Kate Terry & Judy Pawson (Tauranga)

The North Island Pairs was held online on the weekend 2nd-3rd August.

A Special General Meeting of the Tauranga Bridge Club Inc. will be held at the Clubrooms on Tuesday August 19th, 2025, at 4.15pm. Due to recent regulation changes, our club constitution has been reviewed and updated. This meeting is to approve significant changes in new Tauranga Bridge Club constitution. The Bay of Plenty Interclub was held on Sunday 27 July. Congratulations to the Tauranga Open Team who won the Open BOP Interclub. The winning team was: Kate Terry & Rebecca Osborne, Diana McAlister & Hugh McAlister. The Open team will represent the Bay of Plenty in the Waikato/Bays Interclub final.

Matamata held their 5A Swiss Pairs on the Saturday 26 July. Congratulations to Tony Hacking & Judy McLeod who came 12th.
